Location-Based Service Terms

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms of Use is to set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Rating Labs Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and the member in relation to the location-based services provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Member's Consent)

① In order to provide location-based services, the Company may collect and use the member’s location information, and shall obtain the member’s consent thereto.

② The member may refuse to consent to the collection and use of location information; however, in such case, use of certain services may be restricted.

Article 3 (Contents of the Service)

The Company provides the following services by utilizing location information:

① Region-based content recommendations

② Provision of location-based ranking/voting participation information

③ Delivery of personalized advertisements or event information based on the user's location

Article 4 (Purpose of Collection and Use of Location Information)

The Company collects and uses the minimum necessary location information for the following purposes:

① To improve service quality and provide personalized content to users

② To prevent fraudulent use and optimize service operations

③ To utilize data for statistical analysis and service improvement

Article 5 (Retention and Use Period of Location Information)

① The Company retains location information from the date of collection for the duration of the member’s service usage period, and promptly destroys it once the purpose of use has been achieved.

② However, if retention is required under relevant laws and regulations, the information will be securely stored for the legally mandated period.

Article 6 (Provision to Third Parties)

The Company does not provide a Member’s location information to any third party. If provision is required, the Company shall obtain the Member’s prior consent.

Article 7 (Member’s Rights)

① A Member may withdraw consent to the collection and use of location information at any time.

② A Member may request to access, correct, or delete their location information, and the Company shall respond to such requests without undue delay.

Article 9 (Miscellaneous)

① These Terms may be amended upon prior notice in accordance with changes to applicable laws or the Company’s internal policies.

② Matters not stipulated in these Terms shall be governed by the Act on the Protection and Use of Location Information, the Personal Information Protection Act, and other relevant laws and regulations.
